Smiles + Bites is a modern, family-owned orthodontic practice focused on thoughtful, personalized care and an elevated patient experience. As we prepare for our opening, we’re seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and excited to grow with a new practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures (braces, aligners, adjustments, debonds).
- Prepare and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms.
- Take digital scans, photos, and radiographs (as permitted).
- Follow sterilization and OSHA protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient clinic flow.
- Assist with inventory and clinical setup.
Qualifications:
- Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred.
- RDA (or eligibility) in Texas.
- Radiology certification required.
- Experience with digital scanners (iTero or similar) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented.
